Artist book in single copy, 505 p, photocopy paper, 21,0 cm x 29,7 cm x 5,5 cm A mirror was placed in a photocopier and a photocopy was produced. The photocopy was also photocopied, and so on. Each technical image is an erosion. The flow that generates it (light, data, ink) is smoothed by the apparatus in its transcription act. Transitions between analog and digital result in a continuous loss of information. What remains is determined by what disappears. What disappears is determined by what remains. Through a repetitive process, the apparatus was put into a ritual and pushed to act against its own code. The image is absence. The book has been conceived to be bought together with the appendix "vai vieni con me".
