This painting is part of a series of paintings was done at a time in which my daily routine life was dictated by the well-being of my terminally-ill mother, who I had to assist at home. Indeed, the first painting is a collaboration with my mother, a skillful embroiderer who handed down to me this art made of patience and care. The perfect transposition of what I was actually experiencing together with her and for her.
