# Painting
I refer to the method of cartography for landscape painting and pay attention to the environmental experience of subjectivity. I resort to conventional categories (such as roads, architecture, suburbs, cities, etc.) rather than categories that have evolved logically from a dominant theme. Because maps are treated as socially structured forms of knowledge infused with various connotations, and map's visualization is the process of knowing the environment through which people are able to perceive, encode, store, extract, and process information about the properties of their spatial environment.
