Hurts", 2021, barbed wire on paper. Through my artistic research I intend to deal with the study of the intrinsic condition of existence: the mechanicalness and deprivation of freedom of man in relation to his space of existence, his interiority, his being in the world, his total impotence in the face of to a reality that tends to cancel the subjective presence. The human being, as a potentially conscious being, has within him the possibility of absolute freedom, physical and spiritual, but this freedom is hindered and violently denied by the mechanical condition of his existence and of his inhabiting the psyche. True free will, therefore, is not the power of choice on the outside but the possibility of realizing the nosce te ipsum: crumbling day after day, moment by moment, that mass of inner aggregates that nestle in us; the demons of heaviness that prevent us from flying. We could also get around physical gravity, but what about psychological gravity?
