The artwork is made with the frottage technique, using wax pastels and an engraved linoleum plate which instead of been printed was used to create the visual motifs that cover the surfaces of the three Washi papers that compose the work. The artwork shows a dialogue between two different concepts: the seriality of the printmaking given by the repetition and the matrix, in contrast with the randomness and imperfection given by the hand's gesture. The graphic elements that are repeated over the entire surface are never the same as the others, this slight difference derives from the unpredictability of the hand gesture. The creative process is simple, the repetitiveness - given by the non-creative mechanical gesture of the wax pastel's rubbing - the result instead is a complex plot whose uniformity is linked to the aesthetic choice governed by the eye and the mind.
