Like a Moth to a Flame reflects on childhood memories of gazing out car windows - moments of daydreaming when the future felt full of possibilities. The moth shaped arrangement of car windows captures this sense of innocence while hinting at the fragility of adult expectations. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the work explores transformation and illusion. Like Alice, we navigate a world shaped by algorithms and endless promises of self-optimization and illusion of choice. Quick fixes and curated realities blur the line between freedom and control, leaving us searching for meaning in a hyperreal world.
