Synthetic skies, 2023 260x300x1 cm spray paint on synthetic car fabric The skies were covered in fog but you were still breathing. We dreamed of synthetic skies. If only you too were made of plastic or some other stable material. Not degradable. Luca Granato (Cosenza, 1999) is a visual artist based in Italy. Strongly interested in experimentation, his projects are multidisciplinary and long-term investigations into the antinomian conditions of the present time, ranging from sculpture to performance, from environmental installation to video art. Through an anthropological approach, linked to ethnographic, historical, social and ecological issues, his research investigates personal and collective intimacy and the state of precariousness of memory, liquid and labile, determined by processes.
