The presence of inner clarity. What is happening inside the angel? The presence of creativity? The work was created experimentally. A chaotic search for forms through colours, smooth mixing, eventually creating a brownishness. Walking within the square narrows it down and indicates where there is a place to be. At the next stage, I observed the story created by the colours and strokes and wanted to add a head, then arms - which turned into wings and finally, to create a more recognisable body image. There is no telling what will happen in the end until one steps away from the work, in my case. I ended up thinking, "What does an angels have inside of them?"
