Through a number of visual media, I explore various forms of complex issues related to, among other things, gender roles and mental health. Based on my own and others' experiences related to the issues presented, my desire is to capture the raw intensity behind trauma, injustice and power structures. "Two Positions" is one of 3 paintings in a painting series called "Two Positions" which was exhibited for the first time through a video work projected on the facade of Bergen Kunsthall in 2020.
