When the surveillance rights of the network platform are being expanded with the loopholes of technology, the virtual network builds up a sub-space scenario, in which we seem to see a procedural loophole in modern society, an invisible space in which another set of camera programmer is running, escaping from the monitoring of the public surveillance system at any time and any place. When the surveillance function of vision is infinitely amplified, all human organs and tissues will degenerate until the human spine grows and connects to the eyeballs like the legs of an octopus. From this, I created the Modalism series of sculptures based on the renewable nature of the octopus foot.
