It is a part of a visual dialogue between two artists. The main subject of the exhibition is a collection of still life meditative photographs by Yva Schatz and my three dimensional art interpretations of her works. These photographs capture everyday natural objects arranged in a serene and contemplative manner. Each image is intuitively composed, with a focus on light, shadow, and texture-Layers of existence. Yva Schatz's still life photography invites viewers to appreciate the beauty in the not so obviously beautiful objects. By collaborating with Yva Schatz, my main subject is wanting to dive deeper and explore the finding beauty in objects which are no longer in their perfect form, to look beneath the surface and make you feel the wisdom and the energy flow of his subjects. Aiming to explore the limitations of optical vision, underlining the opportunities we miss when relying solely on our eyes. I seek to challenge the perception of what is real and what is not.
