“Angelis” starts as a series of drawings in 2020, in the middle of quarantine, as an adaptation exercise for my body to adjust to its new living conditions. Inspired by the idea of angels, due to their both corporeal and incorporeal nature, the drawings offer an analogy of my body through the white paper sheet: expressing the desire to give rhythm to the void by creating a pattern out of emptiness, and so of wanting to recreate and redistribute my body in the space it occupies.
