Still Life painting with Suede Boots on Hardwood floor. The painting is done in an impressionist/realist style. The lighting is captured low-key with just one light above, illuminating the boots in a chiaroscuro style. The texture of the boots is accentuated with the bold brush strokes. I avoided blending to maintain fluid motion and drama in the picture. Like all my other works this painting was executed in a realistic style while maintaining a painterly effect. The painting is varnished with high gloss Damaar.
