# Painting
Painting of the outside of the Chicago Art Institute on Michigan Avenue, Chicago, with view of the two Lion Statues and people walking. The painting is in my style of maximum realism while maintaining a painterly style. The bold textured strokes were captured with a hog-bristle brush. The thick impasto brush strokes emphasize the dramatic sunset, particularly on the architectural details of the building. The striking sunset can be seen illuminating the façade of the museum and the people walking outside. The colors used are a limited palette of cadmium yellow, cobalt blue, alizarin crimson, titanium white. The painting is signed on the lower right. The painting will be shipped in a box, protected by padding on the inside.
