Realistic still life with carnations, vase, Fruit and wine bottle. Hand painted on canvas. Highly realistic while maintaining a painterly quality. Painting will be shipped in a box with padding. The lighting for this subject was low key, with one spot light at 45 degrees. The background is a black curtain, and the objects are placed on red silk. Every detail is painstakingly captured. On the left we have an antique flask, with an embroidered ornament and just to the right of that is a lantern. The Vase is filled with small travertine stones. There are half a dozen carnations captured in cadmium yellow and the pink carnations are a mix of alizarin crimson and cadmium yellow to complement each other.
