Gesture 4 is conceived as a device for activating an empathic process. The text "When the internal temperature of a body equals the external temperature of the body itself, the degree of empathy is reached" is presented together with the thermographic image of a reptile skin laid on a lawn. Reptiles, being cold-blooded animals, base their survival on the exchange of heat between bodies. The essentiality of this exchange process for the survival of a being here becomes a metaphor for an empathic attitude in which differences do not exist.
