This painting is part of a series of works that are about moving from one chapter of your life to another. My work explores awareness of impermanence and acceptance of change. The characters in my paintings are always caught in moments of self reflection, when they are teetering on the threshold of something new. I am interested in creating scenes that express some of the anxieties and bitter-sweet feelings of my generation.<br/><br/>
