Mushroomgrower or "Honguera" in Spanish, is a compelling fusion of decorative, functional, and productive art. Its design, a 3D printed holder for mushrooms, aims to promote the consumption and diversity of fungal species in domestic environments. With this piece we explore the relationship and limitations between generative iterative design and 3D printed production, creating one-of-a-kind pieces as varied and extensive as the fungi it holds. Once again showcasing the multiplicity of links between nature and artifice. Carefully 3D printed in Clay and then baked, we take a process that is equally ancient and antique but at the same time new and highly technological.
