The Moon model is part of a series of works, "Light After Death" (2019-2022), which illuminates the relationships between art and science, imperfection and geometry, life and death. The traditional hunting trophy is decontextualised and enriched with a neon geometric shape to give it a more suitable appearance to modern urban surroundings. The arching shape is rotated to create the illusion of a crescent moon, alluding to the beginning of a new life cycle. This unique setting gives the skull a new meaning and life, displaying death under a more positive, meaningful light.
