Loft Love. A reflection of a couple. As an artist, my work explores the challenges of communication and the mutability of memory. Rooted in my personal experiences with a speech disorder, my paintings depict subjects attempting to convey their thoughts and emotions without the use of words. I employ a unique visual perspective, capturing a rich array of information within the frame and subverting traditional perspective. My "Lost Millennials" series delves into the social situation of my generation, creating fantastical scenarios that blend memory and imagination. In my process, I strive to create an environment that allows the subjects in my paintings to reflect on the emptiness that can result from the abundance of information in the world. My aesthetic is influenced by a range of artists, from Pissarro to Picasso.
