What was it, that made us understand fellow kids, when we were children; no matter the language? The ambiguous title CHARISMA not only appeals to the modern meaning of the ability to speak and express oneself. But even more the capability to receive, understand and conceive. Benjamin Mario Massa often experienced situations where different languages collided with each other. And despite the lingual disunderstandment, a communication somehow occured. Somehow, sharing food always strengthened this bond. He researches this empathy which enables encounters and conversations beyond language. That material, that makes us understand each other eventhough we don‘t speak the same language; and that makes us happy with the company we have. And maybe refinding the ability we used carelessly as kids.
