Artist book in single copy, 101 p, photocopy paper, 21,0 cm x 29,7 cm x 5,5 cm Conceived as an appendix to “fossi tu come me io come te”, a tribute to Ian Burn. The photocopier was operated with no paper on the scanner. A photocopy was produced. The photocopy was also photocopied, and so on 101 times. Each technical image is sedimentation. The flow that generates it (light, data, ink) is stratified by the apparatus in its transcription act. The transitions between analog and digital result in a continuous accumulation of information. What appears is determined by what remains. Through a repetitive process, the apparatus was put into a ritual and pushed to act against its own code. The image is unlost. The book has been conceived to be bought together with "fossi tu come me io come te".
