STELLA DEL MATTÏNO is part of a series called La grazïosa stella (The graceful star), an investigation into the themes of icone, femininity and body. We started an iconographic and ethnographic research on the theme of the votive shrines presenton the territories of the provinces of Naples and Salerno and then we went on with the design and therealization of a series of multimedia installations with which we want to reformulate and transmute votive shrines in their form and in the elements that compose them.
