I photograph with a distinct interest in a multidisciplinary approach combining my skills as Botanist and also a Photographer. With this project I tend to show the interconnectedness between humans and microorganisms, using a photomicrography technique to see how their biological structure can influence designs in African fabrics. Microorganisms like algae, fungi. viruses, bacteria, have unique biological cell structures under the microscope making their patterns, shape, colors, and form look like designs that could be imitated in African textiles to look more organic and show the relationship between man and these species that can't be seen with a naked eye. It is interesting to observe the movements of these organisms under the microscope, to see how they have rhythmic movements in a certain kind of order, distinctive of human bodily movement, just like humans there is a continuum of intentional and non intentional. These attributes will be interactive and engaging at the same time
