Hello! I'm David Alcazar, a graphic designer from Barcelona who is in love with letters and all the shapes they bring. Starting from the world of graffiti since I was a child to calligraphy and lettering (I am currently learning in the world of 3D to apply it to these areas). I have always considered that letters can already communicate well something that one wants to express, and if we add the power to deform them or create them as we want there is no limit. My way of working and what fascinates me most about this world is to start on paper in the most traditional calligraphic way and finish with the use of new technologies from the computer to give life to the letters. I love oscillating between these two worlds and the fact that they get along so well, as well as always being up to date with new methods to keep experimenting. I would describe my work as experimental lettering, trying that not only the word is the one that speaks, but also the one that surrounds it, because in some cases I leave legibility a little aside, giving more importance to the visual effect but still being eye-catching and beautiful.
